SIAE MICROELETTRONICA awarded as global provider of small cell backhaul technology

Milan, September 2014 - One of the largest European telecommunication service provider has awarded SIAE MICROELETTRONICA as one of the global supplier for Small Cell Backhaul technology. The addition of Small Cell to the current fix to mobile convergence networks will enhance data coverage augmenting data service speed for superior end-user performances.

SIAE MICROELETTRONICA has worked closely with the operator since the early stages of the project, identifying, testing and validating the new technologies as part of the necessary small cell backhaul equipments tool box. SIAE MICROELETTRONICA will supply its EasyCell portfolio including millimetre wave for Line of Sight (LOS) and sub 6GHz for near and Non Line of Sight (n/NLOS) solutions.
