Texas-based service provider utilizes ALFOplus2 delivering fiber-equivalent gigabit connections for Texas and New Mexico customers.

July 12th, 2019, Dallas, TX. - SIAE MICROELETTRONICA, Inc. a leading supplier and innovator of licensed backhaul solutions is pleased to announce that Resound Networks has deployed its ALFOPlus2 RF multi-core microwave radio systems to provide the high capacity backbone for their expanding network in west Texas and New Mexico.

Based in Pampa, Texas, Resound Networks is a locally owned Wireless Internet Service Provider, offering business and residential internet services. With growing customer demand and wanting to ensure the highest and most-reliable transmission rates for their network backbone, Resound Networks searched for a solution providing multi-gigabit speeds for metro and rural customers and selected SIAE MICROELETTRONICA’s ALFOPlus2 RF-multicore system.

Delivering over 2Gbps capacity, with inherent low-latency and jitter, the full-outdoor ALFOplus2 proved to be the best fit to deliver triple-play services to Resound Networks’ customers.

“We reviewed a number of fixed-wireless options for our network backbone and kept coming back to SIAE MICROELETTRONICA”, said Chadd Giles, Chief Operating Officer of Resound Networks. “Their radio system performance, quick delivery and excellent support enable us to exceed our goals.”

“As WISPs look to differentiate their service offerings to their clients, they need a scalable, cost-effective gigabit-plus microwave backhaul solution”, said Augustino Lucenti, vice-president of North America for SIAE MICROELETTRONICA. “We are delighted Resound Networks entrusted us for their critical network backbone connections”.
