SIAE MICROELETTRONICA ESTABLISHES A NEW BUSINESS UNIT DEDICATED TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

During the last years microwave transport market has gone through a deep change. The tremendous increase of traffic and functionalities required to Mobile Operators, whilst the continuous pressure on capex, have forced them to optimize and upgrade the existing networks instead of replacing equipment.

However professional services like planning, optimization, security assurance, DCN engineering, software upgrade require high skills which can be offered mainly or only by the vendors.

SIAE MICROELETTRONICA has decided to leverage on his experience and competence on microwave networks to offer and to provide his customers with a set of specialized services, covering from the implementation to the engineering, from the optimization to the maintenance which will allow them to exploit seamlessly the network potential and supply better and better end-user experience.

With this intent, SIAE MICROELETTRONICA has created a new dedicated Business Unit which will integrate the Delivery Departments (Care and Value Add Services in first phase, adding Implementation Services in second phase), the Business Development and Cost Control.

The Business Unit will be completely responsible for the profit and loss and will be responsible to drive the business transformation. From a manufacturing company selling excellent and unique microwave product to a Solution Provider taking care of his own customer network operational excellence.

A particular effort will be paid to enlarge the Service Portfolio including professional services for other transport technologies and vendors.

“We are confident and look forward to establishing a successful 2 digits growth path in this segment because the people who have always been the key asset of SIAE MICROELETTRONICA have the skills and passion to produce a huge benefit for our customers” said Nicola Bonzanino who is in charge to the new Business Unit.
